with a much more complex rhythmic texture - complex rhythmic bass line - agitated synth line - and finally - driving keys, the thesis melody struggles to coalesce, but is fractured by the shifting rhythms, timbres, and harmonies, and finally gives in to the wave-like atmosphere. At 2:00 minutes in, the EWI finally attempts and then succeeds in restating the melodic material from thesis. The movement ends with a beautiful coda of entwined bass, keys, vocals, and EWI.
